The Michelin Starcross 5 Tyre Package consists of different compounds corresponding to types of terrain or uses.

  • Lighter Tyre than previous range for easier and quicker handling
  • Improved traction in a straight line, better grip and higher lean angles in turns
  • Larger size range for a wider scope of usage including Enduro sizes for non-FIM compliant events

Michelin StarCross 5 Soft is for use on Mixed / Soft Surfaces. These Tyres have mud-phobic bars which help to break up compacted mud for enhanced traction in Muddy and Soft soils, adding lateral grip and stability. They also have wide Knobble spacing which gives maximum penetration.

Michelin StarCross 5 Medium are for use on Mixed / Hard Surfaces and also Hare and Hounds non-FIM Enduro. They have a large tread Block pattern for traction, braking and longevity, slotted to aid penetration. They Tyres are still effective when riding in softer ground, and are recommended for use in Hare and Hound, non-FIM Enduro and all round use as well as MX.
